Keaton Beach, which offers a beautiful beach as well as a 700’ fishing pier, along with the Steinhatchee River is one of the few places in Florida where you can harvest scallops. The north Florida gulf waters have schools of red snapper, grouper, Spanish mackerel and spotted seatrout. Cobia and tarpon are also in these waters which are protected by state wildlife refuges.
